Driver Prime Sigma Plus

SALOMON Driver Prime SIGMA™ Plus – For those who want to look like a fighter jet pilot on skis

Some people ski with a helmet and goggles. Others ski with a visor helmet. And then there are people who slip into the SALOMON Driver Prime SIGMA™ Plus in the morning and suddenly look like they're about to land an F-16 on the Streif.

This helmet is not for minimalists. It's for skiers who want maximum vision, ultimate comfort, and state-of-the-art safety technologies – packaged in a design that's somewhere between race car driver, astronaut, and secret agent.

Technology & Comfort

The core of the Driver Prime is the magnetic SIGMA™ visor system. The contrast-enhancing SIGMA™ lens significantly highlights terrain features, undulations, and unevenness, providing a razor-sharp view. Perfect for diffuse days, changing light conditions, and anyone who likes to go a little faster. A second magnetic lens is also included, so you're always well-equipped for sun or poor visibility.

Changing it takes just a few seconds – pull off the magnet, click in the new lens, and you're good to go. No fumbling, no cold fingers.

The BOA® Fit System ensures a perfect fit, while the MaxFit construction comfortably and pressure-free encloses the helmet. Inside, a high-quality 100% merino wool lining reliably wicks away moisture and remains comfortable to wear even after long days of skiing.

When it comes to safety, Salomon is pulling out all the stops. Smart Safety 360°, EPS4D technology, and the hybrid construction offer first-class protection against vertical and oblique impacts. The magnetic FIDLOCK® buckle can be easily closed even with gloves.

Our Conclusion

The SALOMON Driver Prime SIGMA™ Plus is probably the most futuristic piece you can wear on the slopes this season. It offers a huge field of vision, excellent comfort, and safety technology that almost seems excessive – until you need it.

Or, in other words:

If Darth Vader had gone skiing, he probably would have worn exactly this helmet. And in black. 🎿🚀🖤
