The 2024 Trek Rail 8 GX is a powerful full-suspension e-mountain bike for those seeking serious assistance on the climbs and a genuine mountain biking feel on the descents. With its robust aluminum frame, powerful Bosch drive system, and high-quality trail components, the Rail is built for demanding tours and technical trails.
At the heart of the bike is the powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor with up to 85 Nm of torque. Together with the integrated 625 Wh battery, the Rail 8 GX offers a strong combination of range, power, and sporty handling for tours and significant elevation gain.
With 160 mm of travel up front and 150 mm in the rear, the suspension is clearly tuned for demanding terrain. Roots, rocks, fast descents, or technical trail sections – the Rail offers plenty of reserves while ensuring control and a solid, planted ride feel.
The SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain provides a wide gear range for steep climbs and fast trail sections. Powerful disc brakes ensure you can reliably control your speed even in challenging terrain.
The balanced geometry combines stability at higher speeds with agile handling. This makes the Rail 8 GX suitable for both long e-MTB tours and more technical trails and fast descents.
Important: This is a pre-owned e-mountain bike from the 2024 model year. Typical visual and technical signs of wear on the frame, components, and drive system are therefore possible.
