Accessibility at Sport am Jet
We want everyone to be able to use our online shop as easily as possible and without restrictions. That is why we are continuously working to make our website accessible in accordance with the requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) and EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

Our Goal
Whether you are looking for skis, ski boots, helmets, goggles or accessories – our goal is to give all visitors the easiest possible access to our shop.
In doing so, we follow the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, as well as the European standard EN 301 549.
Measures Already Implemented
Our shop already meets numerous requirements for accessible use, including:

We place great importance on making our product descriptions as clear and informative as possible.
This includes, among other things:

Should individual content not yet be fully optimised for screen readers or other assistive technologies, we are continuously working on improving it.
Remaining Limitations
Despite the utmost care, some areas may not yet be fully accessible.
These may include, for example:

some older product images without fully optimised alternative texts

embedded content from external providers

older PDF documents
-
certain functions of third-party apps within our Shopify shop (e.g. payment, review, chat, tracking or shipping solutions), over whose technical implementation we have only limited influence
We review these areas regularly and are continuously improving them.
