Griffin Base 3D

GRIFFIN BASE 3D – When a glove should do everything but make coffee

Some gloves are warm. Others are sporty. And then there's the LEKI Griffin Base 3D – which simply says: Why not both?

This glove is made for skiers who enjoy the freshly groomed slopes in the morning, carve a few quick turns at midday, and find that their hands are still pleasantly warm in the evening. No bulky winter armor, no ultra-thin racing glove – but exactly the golden mean between comfort, performance, and technology.

On the back of the hand, softshell, neoprene, and supple premium goatskin meet. The palm is also made of high-quality goatskin and is supported by Nash silicone grip zones, so that the pole remains securely in your hand even when things get serious.

Hyperloft insulation provides cozy warmth, while the soft Micro-Bemberg lining delivers a feel that's almost like a favorite hoodie for your hands. Thanks to MF Touch, you can even operate your smartphone without taking off your gloves. Perfect for a quick summit photo or a message to friends that you're doing another run.

Of course, the Trigger 3D System is also a must-have. One click is all it takes and you are directly connected to your LEKI pole. This ensures more precise power transmission, less gripping effort, and additional safety in the event of a fall.

Our Conclusion

The Griffin Base 3D is a bit like a good all-mountain ski: it can do almost anything, feels at home everywhere, and is a lot of fun. Warm enough for cold January days, sporty enough for fast turns, and technically so well thought out that after the first day of skiing, you'll wonder why you ever wore anything else.
