PRO incl. Marker Comp 12 GW

PRO – Unrivaled Racing Prowess. Unmatched Skiing Pleasure.

The VAN DEER PRO is exactly the ski Marcel Hirscher reaches for when he wants to enjoy a relaxed day on the slopes. But one thing you should know: Marcel’s definition of "relaxed" has about as much in common with leisurely cruising as a race car has with a family van.

The PRO combines uncompromising World Cup DNA with astonishing everyday usability. It offers the precision, stability, and acceleration of a race ski, yet it's more accessible, harmonious, and playful than a pure FIS model. The result is a ski for ambitious piste skiers who seek maximum performance without constantly battling at the limit.

Technology & Comfort

Beneath its elegant surface lies virtually the same technology used in VAN DEER's World Cup models. A high-quality ash-poplar wood core, combined with two titanal layers, ensures direct power transmission, exceptional smoothness, and impressive stability at high speeds.

With its slender 68 mm waist and specially tuned geometry, the PRO combines razor-sharp edge grip with a harmonious ride. It loves hard slopes but never feels nervous. Whether short, explosive turns or long, high-speed carving radii – this ski always delivers precise feedback and a powerful ride.

Thanks to its slightly wider geometry and tighter radius compared to FIS race models, the PRO remains enjoyable to ski all day long and provides exactly what many ambitious skiers are looking for: true racing feel without racing stress.

Highlights

• 68 mm waist for maximum precision on the piste

• World Cup construction without FIS restrictions

• Ash-poplar wood core

• Double titanal belt for enormous stability

• Direct power transmission and exceptional smoothness

• Perfectly tuned geometry for greater versatility

• Excellent edge grip, even on icy slopes

• Developed and personally approved by Marcel Hirscher

• Made for powerful carving sessions from the first to the last gondola

Who is it for?

The PRO is aimed at sporty and technically skilled skiers who love the character of a race ski but don't want an uncompromising FIS powerhouse.

If you want to lay the first tracks on freshly groomed slopes in the morning, love high speeds, and are still looking for a ski that remains fun even after six hours, then the PRO will probably be your perfect companion.

Our Conclusion

The PRO is not a ski for Sunday skiers. It demands attention but rewards with a feeling that can be addictive.

It skis like a race ski but thinks with you. It accelerates brutally out of turns, remains stoically calm even at full throttle, and conveys that rare feeling that much more would be possible – even if your legs have long since disagreed. That's why the PRO is the most exciting ski in the entire VAN DEER range for many.
